First Base. It's a Date

The sports week is about to pick up with the start of the Major League Baseball playoffs. Thursday night east meets west as the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. Then Friday west meets east as the Los Angeles Angels have date night with the New York Yankees in the ALCS. The winners of the respective seven-game series will face each other in the World Series. John Lackey will be the starting pitcher for the Angels and CC Sabathia for the Yankees. Identifying the pitcher for an upcoming game is like a man identifying you as his favorite girl. Or even better, identifying you as his (only) girl. See? It matters. So with these upcoming playoff games, to all the single ladies we say, this is the pefect opportunitiy to saunter out to your local sports bar, or to the games themselves, and join the fellas in watching.  Not all men like baseball, but they usually can rally around a playoff situation, and, let's face it, you, so go knock it out of the park.
