Man Drama

If you've never heard of Michael Crabtree, he's like the boyfriend who just won't commit, because he'd like to think he could do better. He really can't. So he ends up "settling" to be with you because you aren't buying his charade. This is what Crabtree did with the San Francisco 49ers. He didn't like his initial offers upon being drafted because he thought he was getting short-changed compared to HIGHER and BETTER NFL draft picks. Crabtree was even willing to sit out the 2009 season and re-enter the draft in 2010 with the hopes of getting his desired prize by playing the field. Wednesday, Crabtree signed a 6-year, $32 million deal with the 49ers. The lesson here: Never settle.

Braylon Edwards wasn't going to settle for what he had either. A disgruntled Edwards was granted his wish to be traded from the Cleveland Browns, as the New York Jets picked him up Wednesday. NBA star LeBron James isn't shedding a tear over Edwards' exodus from Cleveland. This city ain't big enough for the both of us! James is a little miffed that Edwards punched his friend outside of a nightclub. So, as you can see, Edwards, no stranger to community service, comes with a rap sheet, but the Jets see the good (dollar signs) in him and aren't worried about his baggage...or warrants.
